Job Description

Senior Product Designer will be responsible for leading the design of complex experiences within a squad or crew, ensuring work aligns with product strategy, business goals, and user needs. They define user journeys, drive design decisions, and advocate for design best practices across teams.

Working within the Agent Division in the Skylight Crew, the Senior Product Designer will partner closely with the Lead Product Designer and their triad peers in product and engineering to deliver compelling outcomes across our agent products. This is a predominantly B2B role on a SaaS product, designing for people who use our tools as part of their livelihood — agents, sales teams, principals and admins working at pace and under commercial pressure. Designing well for them means understanding their business.

The product offering is relatively new, but the challenge isn't a shortage of insight — it's deciding what we build. That demands ruthless prioritisation: knowing which gaps must be closed to be credible, which are worth conceding, and where we can be meaningfully better rather than incrementally similar. You'll be expected to form a point of view, back it with evidence, and argue it — including when the answer is that we shouldn't build the thing.

You'll work end-to-end, from discovery to shipped detail, extending our design system rather than working around it. You'll raise the craft bar across the crew, bring your triad with you rather than presenting to them, and mentor less experienced designers. The Lead sets direction; you'll be one of the people they rely on to shape it and make it real.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute organic search strategies across multiple brands, driving growth in visibility, traffic, and search performance.
• Lead end-to-end design initiatives, delivering intuitive, user-centred experiences aligned to product strategy and business goals.
• Conduct user research, usability testing and discovery activities to uncover insights and validate design decisions.
• Create high-quality wireframes, prototypes and polished designs that balance customer needs, technical feasibility and commercial outcomes.
• Champion design quality and consistency through active contribution to Domain’s design system, patterns and design standards.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and cross-functional teams to shape solutions and influence product direction.
• Drive continuous improvement by facilitating design critiques, sharing best practices, and advocating for new tools, processes and ways of working.

Ideally you’ll have

• 5+ years’ experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design or a related field, supported by a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one design specialisation, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design practices and outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, with experience creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
• Skilled in user research, usability testing and leveraging data insights to inform and validate design decisions.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and other stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), design systems and agentic workflows, with a proven ability to contribute to and improve scalable design practices.
