Nightwing is seeking an experienced Estimating and Pricing professional to support the development and execution of sole source and competitive proposals for Government and Commercial contracts. This role serves as a critical business partner to capture teams, providing strategic pricing guidance and cost/price analysis to maximize win probability while ensuring profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Pricing & Cost Analysis
- Develop comprehensive pricing strategies and competitive pricing recommendations for government and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare detailed cost models and pricing volumes for proposals.
- Analyze labor rates, material costs, subcontractor quotes, and indirect rates to build accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct cost analyses and price reasonableness assessments.
Government Contracting Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements, CAS, and Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA).
- Prepare cost and pricing data submissions in accordance with government regulations.
- Develop and maintain certified cost or pricing data packages.
Business Analysis & Strategy
- Collaborate with business development teams, program managers, and program function staff.
- Perform analysis and research to inform pricing decisions.
- Generate pricing reports and presentations for executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Active Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis supporting government contracts.
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.), and government pricing requirements.
- Experience preparing proposals for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or Federal civilian agencies.
- Proficiency in cost modeling, spreadsheet development, and financial analysis tools. To include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced proposal environment.
