Where You'll Make a Difference

• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Ensure payroll transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and local accounting requirements.
• Partner closely with external payroll providers to understand payroll components and their accounting impact.
• Prepare and review payroll-related accruals, including vacation accruals, incentive plans, pensions, and other locally required accruals.
• Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet and profit & loss accounts and investigate variances.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure payroll-related reporting is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Human Resources, Payroll teams, and external auditors.
• Support compliance, controls, audit activities, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements where applicable.
• Drive process standardization, improve operational efficiency, and act as a senior point of reference within the accounting team.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, payroll accounting, or a related finance role.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and core accounting processes.
• Experience with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and drive improvements.

How Would You Stand Out?

• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
• Knowledge of SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Experience supporting audit processes and internal control frameworks.
