Role Overview
As a Senior Parabroker/Loan Processor, you are tasked with delivering high-quality, end-to-end loan application support within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Operating remotely as a key back-office partner, this proactive role handles complex loan processing, compliance documentation, and lender communications while helping drive the company's operational transformation through the integration of AI tools, automated workflows, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End-to-End Loan Application Support: Partner directly with mortgage advisors to prepare complete, high-quality loan application packages, review documentation for accuracy, and assist with lender submissions.
- Workflow & Output Execution: Utilize Cowork skills proficiently to generate accurate mortgage outputs, maintain comprehensive file/diary notes, and draft clear lender communications.
- Compliance & Record Management: Maintain precise client records and ensure all documentation strictly meets business, lender, and regulatory compliance standards.
- AI & Automation Integration: Leverage AI tools within daily operations to support the shift from template-driven tasks toward dynamic, AI-assisted outputs.
- Process Optimization: Identify manual inefficiencies and actively contribute to the creation, testing, and refinement of AI agents and workflow automations (including Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Power Platform).
- Pipeline Management: Confidently navigate a fast-paced, high-volume pipeline, prioritizing tasks independently and anticipating advisor needs.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (Must Have):
- Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Writer, Loan Processor, Mortgage Administrator, or Parabroker.
- Domain Expertise: Strong direct experience with New Zealand mortgage lending processes and loan-writing workflows. (Note: Exceptional applicants with deep Australian mortgage experience combined with UK or US lending backgrounds may be considered).
- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Cowork skills to execute mortgage workflow outputs.
- Communication: Exceptional written communication skills for drafting lender correspondence, technical file notes, and client documentation.
- Tech-Savviness: Comfort incorporating AI tools into everyday business workflows and a track record of adapting quickly to new technologies.
- Operating Style: High level of initiative, sound analytical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a remote/offshore setup without waiting for step-by-step direction.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Direct experience building, configuring, or refining AI agents, automations, or system workflows.
- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps, or the broader Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience participating in business process transformations, such as migrating manual workflows into automated solutions.
- Previous experience in an offshore or remote mortgage support environment.
