Introduction
As a Senior Member of Technical Staff within our IP Engineering organization at GF, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of high-performance compute IP solutions. This position combines deep technical expertise with engineering leadership. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations, driving technical execution, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex IP development programs. The role offers the opportunity to influence product direction, engineering methodologies, and organizational capability while contributing to cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
Your Job
In this role, you will:
Lead the development and delivery of advanced processor and compute IP solutions, ensuring high-quality execution and signoff readiness.
Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, verification, implementation, and product delivery activities while driving engineering excellence and execution discipline.
Define and review technical strategies, development plans, specifications, methodologies, and quality processes to support efficient project execution.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to support technology roadmaps, product development, and business objectives.
Mentor engineers, drive technical growth within the organization, and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in digital IC/IP development, design, verification, implementation, or technical project leadership.
Strong understanding of processor, memory, and system architectures.
Proven expertise in digital design and verification methodologies, including RTL development, simulation, formal verification, and signoff processes.
Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and modern semiconductor development environments and EDA tool flows.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage technical complexity and risk.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership capabilities in a global engineering environment.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and influence engineers and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading large-scale or multi-site engineering projects and teams.
Deep expertise in one or more areas such as processor microarchitecture, RTL design, functional verification, formal verification, or SoC/IP integration.
Programming and scripting experience using Python, C/C++, or similar languages.
Experience driving methodology improvements, automation initiatives, and engineering best practices.
Customer-facing experience and participation in technical roadmap discussions are advantageous.
Expected Salary Range
81.907,20 € - 122.860,80 €The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
