Requirements

• Review and make decisions on complex medical approval cases based on medical necessity, appropriateness, and coverage policies?
• Ensure patient care considerations are appropriately addressed while maintaining compliance with medical and insurance guidelines?
• Handle escalated cases and provide sound medical recommendations and decisions?
• Support the quality and consistency of the medical approvals process?
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate case resolution?
• Bachelor's degree in medicine.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Approvals.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance and approval processes.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
