We are seeking a marketing leader to drive the strategy, development, and execution of integrated marketing communications that strengthen our brand and support business growth. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams in creating impactful campaigns and content across multiple channels, while overseeing people, budgets, and strategic initiatives that enhance customer engagement and deliver measurable results.

What you will do:
• Interpret and coach the team on the use of competitive insights to shape communication strategy
• Coach the team to maximize communication in alignment with value proposition
• Write, coach the team, and gain organizational alignment on key communication documents: business reviews, marketing strategies, proposals and recommendations
• Empower the team to create and anticipate marketing communication strategies that understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
• Lead and coach the team to develop and execute impactful strategies and plans to achieve marketing and business objectives
• Provide clear, strategic, and prioritized communication to the field sales organization through written/verbal communications, presentations, and informal interactions
• Encourage the team to collaborate and identify unique, creative ways to enable sales
• Lead, develop, and execute communication strategies that drive the strategic plan for the product and/or portfolio and coach the team on initiation, development, and execution of communication channels & strategies
• Leverage existing marketing channel strategies, initiate new channels, and make strategic channel decisions based upon ROI while tracking the impact
• Educate team on writing projects with varying levels of associates and management; consult others on developing and editing large documents and documentation projects
• Lead discussions about style and tone differences of press releases, marketing brochures, and newsletters
• Coach team on new ways of building creative; Consistent pulse on industry trends to ensure the brand is up to speed on all things creative
• Communicate well downward, upward, and outward
• Employ appropriate methods of persuasion when soliciting agreement
• Develop presentation objectives and organize key topics, speaking points, materials, and flow
• Empower and coach team to maximize creative impact
• Determine cost-effective design alternatives to maximize budget
• Coach team on design and development of internal publications and events. Ensure message is on-brand and in Stryker tone of voice.
• Supervise others in their use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools
• Coach team on new ways to execute events and share results
• Obtain continued pulse on industry trends/shows/events
 

What you will need:

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years of work experience required

Preferred:
• MBA preferred
• 7+ years of medical device or marketing experience preferred
• 4+ years of people management experience preferred
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  

 

United States of America Pay Range:

• USN: $118,000 - $196,700 USD Annual
