ROLE SUMMARY
You will lead application delivery excellence, portfolio performance, culture and leadership initiatives and communications strategy and execution for the Enabling Functions Creation center, a team providing technical solution delivery for Pfizer’s PX, Legal and GBS divisions. You will also manage the application portfolio supporting these divisions—overseeing application health, adoption, utilization, and lifecycle optimization and will evaluate ROI, ensure value realization, and implement governance frameworks to maximize technology investments.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Delivery Excellence Strategy and Governance
- Define and lead the Delivery Excellence strategy for the Enabling Functions Creation Center, establishing governance, standards, and operating rhythms that drive consistent execution across a global organization.
- Implement scalable delivery frameworks, performance management practices, and continuous improvement mechanisms to improve quality, predictability, and business outcomes.
2. Organizational Operations and Workforce Effectiveness
- Provide operational leadership for a 70+ colleague organization, ensuring effective resource utilization, workforce planning, capacity management, onboarding, and delivery performance.
- Partner with leadership to identify organizational risks, prioritize investments, and drive actions that improve efficiency and team effectiveness.
3. Portfolio Performance and Value Realization
- Establish enterprise visibility into the Creation Center portfolio through metrics, reporting, and executive insights.
- Measure delivery performance, technology adoption, value realization, and return on investment to inform strategic decision-making and investment priorities.
4. Communications and Leadership Engagement
- Lead the organization's communication strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, transparency, and engagement across colleagues, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Develop executive presentations, operational reviews, business updates, and leadership communications that articulate organizational priorities, accomplishments, and risks.
5. Culture, Engagement and Change Leadership
- Champion a high-performing culture through employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, change management activities, and leadership communications.
- Foster an environment of inclusion, accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Leadership, Operations Management, or related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in technology delivery, PMO leadership, business operations, organizational effectiveness, portfolio management, or related functions.
- Experience leading operational excellence, governance, and strategic planning activities for large, complex organizations.
- Experience influencing senior leaders and driving outcomes across global, matrixed environments without direct authority.
- Experience developing executive-level communications, business reviews, organizational metrics, and performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of portfolio governance, resource planning, capacity management, and delivery performance management.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with experience tailoring communications for executive audiences.
- Experience leading organizational change, continuous improvement initiatives, and cultural transformation programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities with experience translating data into actionable business insights.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Organizational Leadership, Operations Management, or related discipline
- Experience supporting a senior executive or serving in a Chief of Staff, Business Operations, PMO Leadership, Delivery Excellence, or Strategy and Operations role.
- Experience leading delivery excellence oroperational governance functions within a technology organization supporting multiple business functions.
- Experience managing large-scale technology portfolios and measuring value realization from digital investments.
- Experience leading colleague engagement, organizational culture, communications, and change management initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, portfolio management practices, and technology delivery life cycles.
- Experience leveraging data visualization and reporting tools to provide executive insights and portfolio analytics.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. * The annual base salary for this position in Tampa, FL ranges from $111,900.00 to $186,500.00.
