The Job
This role is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys shaping strategy, influencing executive decisions, leading transformation programs, and helping customers unlock value through digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional Industrial Intelligence strategy and technical direction, aligning transformation priorities, solution architecture, and execution with the business and operational objectives of strategic regional accounts.
- Orchestrate AVEVA’s cross-portfolio capabilities across APM, APO, AOC, CONNECT, Industrial Data / PI, analytics and enterprise integrations to create integrated Industrial Intelligence solutions and transformation roadmaps.
- Own end-to-end technical and transformation leadership for selected strategic accounts, acting as the senior technical interface from discovery and roadmap definition through delivery assurance, value realization, and Services expansion.
- Lead customer discovery and strategic advisory engagements, translating operational and business challenges into Industrial Intelligence transformation roadmaps, prioritized use cases, business-value hypotheses, integration requirements, data needs, and deployment architecture.
- Own technical governance for bids and proposals, reviewing and validating scope, architecture, effort estimates, assumptions, exclusions, risks, resource models, and delivery approach to ensure proposals are accurate, executable, competitive, and aligned to AVEVA delivery methodology.
- Work closely with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) to optimize engineering estimates and delivery plans, including resource planning, role clarity, delivery readiness, and effective collaboration during implementation.
- Act as the key regional interface to Portfolio, R&D, Global Services Practice for product gaps, defect resolution, enhancement requests, customer driven requirements, competitive insights, and prioritization of regionally important functionality.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage technical risks and dependencies (e.g., data readiness and quality, integration complexity, OT/IT constraints, cybersecurity and customer standards, environment readiness, change management), driving mitigation plans and timely decisions.
- Establish and enforce regional technical governance, including reference architectures, reusable templates, estimation models, solution standards, technical review gates, and delivery best practices, ensuring consistent quality across strategic engagements.
- Provide technical escalation and transformation assurance leadership across major engagements, resolving complex architecture, integration, performance, security, data, and delivery challenges while maintaining alignment with customer outcomes and program objectives.
- Build and lead regional Industrial Intelligence capability comprising consultants, architects, and SMEs, providing technical direction and mentoring to strengthen solution quality, cross-portfolio integration, technical consistency, and strategic account support.
- Support executive governance and SteerCos with clear reporting on technical status, risks, mitigation actions, value realization, and decision requirements, translating complex technical topics into executive ready insights and recommendations.
- Drive Services growth and pull-through by converting engagements and transformation roadmaps into scalable multi-phase programs, identifying additional use cases, replication across assets or sites, and opportunities.
- Demonstrate and document measurable customer outcomes and ROI, using value realization to strengthen strategic relationships, create referenceable successes, and identify future Industrial Intelligence transformation opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Sales, Product, Practice Leads, Customer Success, Partners, and Delivery to maintain continuity from customer challenge through transformation definition, solution architecture, commercial shaping, delivery readiness, execution, and expansion.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience leading complex industrial software, digital transformation, or operational technology programs
- Proven track record of engaging senior customer stakeholders and translating business challenges into scalable solutions
- Experience with industrial data, operational systems, enterprise integrations, and cloud technologies
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive successful customer outcomes
- Experience working across Sales, Services, Product, and Delivery organizations in a global environment
Preferred:
- Experience with AVEVA, PI System, Industrial Data Platforms, APM, Analytics, or Connected Operations solutions
- Relevant certifications in Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Platforms, Project Management, or Agile methodologies
