Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Reliability
- Lead mechanical maintenance activities for all production equipment, utilities, and material handling systems.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance performance through root cause analysis.
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting and critical equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure optimum spare parts management and maintenance cost control.
Engineering & Projects
- Support execution of engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, energy saving, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors for maintenance and project activities.
People Management
- Guide, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
- Plan manpower, maintenance schedules, and resource utilization.
- Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and PPE.
EHS, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory requirements, GMP, and Quality standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, GEMBA walks, and incident investigations.
- Support audits, management reviews, and change management activities.
Operational Excellence
- Drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs such as Breakdown Hours, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, and Maintenance Cost.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functions to improve plant performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, utilities, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, TPM, and maintenance planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
