We are looking for a highly hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership of end-to-end product development across the backend and frontend. You will build and ship production-ready features spanning Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, working closely with product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
The role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building from the ground up, thrives in an early-stage environment, and is comfortable taking ownership from database design and APIs through to user-facing experiences and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and deliver end-to-end product features across Django, DRF, React, and Next.js.
- Design and implement database models, APIs, business logic, and responsive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain reliable integrations with third-party and enterprise systems.
- Handle external system complexities including API variations, protocol differences, version changes, and data inconsistencies.
- Build user-facing dashboards, data tables, AI-enabled interfaces, and mobile-first experiences.
- Develop messaging integrations, inbound webhooks, queued outbound communication, and scheduled workflows.
- Implement reminders, follow-ups, notifications, and automated insight-delivery workflows.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL, ensuring appropriate data modelling, tenant isolation, and query performance.
- Maintain strong application security, auditability, error handling, and data integrity.
- Write automated tests and ensure new features do not compromise existing functionality.
- Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, and production readiness.
- Work closely with architects to implement solutions within established technical boundaries.
- Collaborate with junior engineers, provide technical guidance, review code, and help unblock development.
- Work directly with customers to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical product solutions.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, technical documentation, development standards, and engineering best practices.
- Estimate work realistically, prioritize delivery, and maintain a strong focus on shipping tested, production-ready features.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Django and Django REST Framework (DRF).
- Strong frontend development experience with React and Next.js.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including data modelling, queries, and multi-tenant data handling.
- Proven ability to own features from database and backend APIs through to frontend implementation.
- Experience building and maintaining integrations with third-party or enterprise systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly when working with complex or inconsistent external systems.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, background jobs, queues, or Celery is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, responsive design, and reusable component development.
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools while independently reviewing and validating their output.
- Strong understanding of testing, error handling, security, data isolation, and production reliability.
- Pragmatic, execution-focused mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and maintainability.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to mentor junior engineers and contribute beyond individual development tasks.
