We're looking for a self-starter to join our FP&A team, working extensively with the Subscription COGS and IT teams. In this role, you will help budget opex and capex, build monthly budget-vs-actual (BvA) analyses to explain variances to forecast, and manage headcount and purchase orders. You'll lead the team that consolidates financials for Subscription COGS and IT. Experience leveraging AI to power analytics and executive reporting is a strong plus.

Job Duties:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Subscription COGS and IT, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.

• Partner with operational leaders to provide insights into cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for efficiency and savings.

• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and cost optimization initiatives.

• Monitor and report on monthly performance against budget, delivering variance analysis and actionable recommendations.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Lead, develop, and mentor a small team of offshore resources to ensure high-quality deliverables and career growth.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior finance leadership and business stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.

• Continuously design, develop, and automate the unit COGS model.

• Extract required data from internal systems, lead analytics projects, and monitor key trends in relevant metrics.

• Work independently and in conjunction with our FP&A, Accounting, Revenue, Subscription COGS, and IT teams.

• Fulfill ad-hoc analytical requests as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• Public and private cloud COGS experience.

• Strong ability to analyze data, build models, communicate the numbers, and influence business partners.

• Background supporting a CTO/Technology organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

• Advanced-level user of MS Excel and Google Sheets.

• Experience with Anaplan is a plus.

• Skilled at leveraging AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to eliminate manual processes, scale team output, and lead automation projects using technologies such as Anaplan, ChatGPT, and Tableau.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability to deliver high-quality results while working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience:        

• Prior experience supporting COGS with a focus on identifying cost drivers and leading initiatives that improve operational efficiency.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.

• Understanding of the SaaS business model and cloud (public and private) operations.

• Project management skills

If you are hired in Belmont, CA, the compensation range for this position is between $133,300 and $162,600 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
