As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will architect and maintain scalable, secure infrastructures for fintech and payment platforms, ensuring compliance with PCI‑DSS and ISO 27001 standards. You will collaborate closely with DevSecOps and compliance teams to embed security natively into the CI/CD pipelines while driving automation, reliability, and performance across AWS and Kubernetes environments. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, reviewing best practices, and continuously iterating on monitoring, alerting, and incident‑response frameworks to sustain high‑availability services. You will also engage in capacity planning, cost optimization, and governance to support the organization’s growth in a regulated payment ecosystem.

• Build and automate secure, compliant CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Jenkins, incorporating code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and compliance checks
• Enforce PCI‑DSS controls across the infra stack, including network segmentation, encryption, baselining, and logging for audit readiness
• Implement and tune centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and CloudWatch for proactive incident detection
• Lead capacity planning, cost‑optimization initiatives, and service‑level engineering for high‑traffic payment workloads
• Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams on DevOps best practices, container security, and application resiliency
• Automate deployment of microservices, serverless functions, and batch jobs across multiple regions and accounts with multi‑cloud awareness
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to perform regular penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and remediation workflows

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building and operating production‑grade Kubernetes and AWS ecosystems in fintech or payment environments
• Deep knowledge of PCI‑DSS regulations, end‑to‑end payment flow security, and experience conducting audit readiness and remediation activities
• Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, and scripting (Python, Bash, Go) for infrastructure automation and deployments
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform Cloud), including security gate integration and artifact management
• Expertise in container runtime security, image scanning, RBAC governance, and secrets management with Vault or aws‑secretsmanager
• Proven track record in monitoring, observability, and log‑based alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Elastic stack
• Leadership experience mentoring junior DevOps engineers and fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and security awareness
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and multi‑cloud environments
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Step Functions), event‑driven architecture, and API gateway policies for payment services
• A passion for continuous learning, staying current with industry trends, emerging tools, and compliance frameworks in the fintech space.
