Sobre este puesto de Senior Dealer en moomoo
About the role
The Senior Dealer is the operational lead for an assigned dealing shift and the first escalation point for complex trades, portfolio-risk events and client trading issues. In addition to hands-on dealing, this role directs live shift activity, monitors team performance and attendance, and coordinates cover so that dealing operations remain staffed and controlled. The Senior Dealer works closely with the Head of Dealing across three daily shifts supporting the Saudi and global markets, with particular focus on U.S. market activity.
Shift leadership and staffing continuity
- Own end-to-end readiness, staffing, service standards and operational execution for the assigned shift; confirm attendance, desk allocation and staff availability at the start of and throughout the shift.
- Arrange break cover and respond to late arrivals, unplanned absence or unexpected workload; reallocate work or step in personally to fill immediate coverage gaps, coordinating with the Head of Dealing.
- Ensure no dealing desk or assigned shift is left unattended during required market coverage; flag forecast staffing shortfalls early and request backup support.
- Lead structured shift handovers, including open orders, margin actions, live risk exposures, client escalations, market events and unresolved technology incidents.
- Check operational readiness for Saudi and U.S. sessions, including relevant trading calendars, exchange holidays and U.S. daylight-saving changes.
Trade supervision and escalation management
- Supervise dealers’ live order monitoring and execution quality across supported Saudi and international products, especially U.S. equities, ETFs and listed options.
- Handle escalated trade exceptions, complex order issues, sensitive client inquiries and broker/execution problems; execute trades directly when needed.
- Oversee application of buying-power, margin, concentration and trading-limit controls; prioritize material accounts and coordinate action with Risk and Compliance.
- Manage significant market-volatility events, options exercise/assignment concerns and urgent margin cases under approved escalation and approval frameworks.
- Coordinate immediate incident response for execution errors or platform disruption, preserving records and escalating critical issues to the Head of Dealing.
Team performance and operational improvement
- Monitor shift performance, case queues, response times, control adherence and dealer productivity; provide real-time coaching and quality feedback.
- Support onboarding, cross-training, procedure refreshers and daily briefings so dealers are prepared for product and market-session requirements.
- Produce concise shift reports covering staffing, incidents, outstanding exceptions, material risks and follow-up owners.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Operations and Client Services to reduce recurring trade-support issues and strengthen shift playbooks.
Requirements
- CME-3 (CMA) certification and Tadawul Certificate — both required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline; typically 5+ years of relevant brokerage, dealing or trading-operations experience.
- Proven hands-on experience in the Saudi market and international markets, especially U.S. equities and options; deep knowledge of the products, order lifecycle, exchange sessions and margin-risk dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a live trading desk or shift, supervise colleagues, prioritize risk and make sound decisions under market pressure.
- Strong command of OMS/trading systems, exception management, audit-quality records, stakeholder coordination and operational incident handling.
- Fluent professional English, written and spoken, with confident client escalation and team communication skills.
- Availability for rotating schedules, regular night shifts and urgent coverage when needed to maintain uninterrupted operations.
