The Opportunity
We're looking for a Senior Associate – Transmission Line Engineering to join our growing Power team and play a key role in the delivery of transmission line projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Working alongside a team of experienced engineers and technical specialists, you'll lead the delivery of complex transmission line projects, build strategic client relationships and help grow our transmission capability. You'll combine technical excellence with project leadership, mentoring and business development activities that contribute to the continued success of our Power business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the technical delivery of transmission line projects across the project lifecycle, developing practical and innovative solutions for high-voltage transmission networks.
- Building strong relationships with clients, project teams and technical specialists to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes and support project and business growth opportunities.
- Applying your expertise in transmission line design, including PLS-CADD and/or TOWER, while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence across the Power team.
- Supporting project pursuits, client engagement activities and the continued growth of Beca's transmission line capability.
About You
You're an experienced transmission line engineer with strong technical capability, a collaborative approach and a passion for delivering successful project outcomes. You enjoy building relationships, sharing your knowledge and helping develop the next generation of engineers.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Engineering and Chartered status (or a commitment to achieving chartership).
- Proven experience delivering transmission line projects across high-voltage transmission networks, including technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong technical capability in transmission line design, including experience using PLS-CADD and/or TOWER.
- Experience building client relationships, leading project delivery and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A passion for mentoring and developing others, with the ability to positively influence teams and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
