We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Analytics team, part of our people and investments business at Marsh.

This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Health and Benefits Analytics team is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Web Developer (Analytics) to help shape the front-end architecture and technical direction of our analytics products. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who enjoys building intuitive, user-centered experiences, leading technical decisions, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality web solutions that create real impact for clients and colleagues worldwide.

We will count on you to:

• Lead the design and evolution of front-end architecture across our React-based products, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions
• Drive adoption of web development best practices, coding standards, testing approaches, and shared tooling across the team
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and developers to translate business needs into intuitive, user-centered digital experiences
• Mentor and support mid-level and junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and day-to-day collaboration
• Integrate REST APIs, websocket endpoints, and third-party platforms to surface data from BI platforms within modern web interfaces
• Contribute to sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery risk management while advocating for pragmatic technical improvements and continuous innovation

What you need to have:

• Demonstrable experience building production-grade software with React at scale and leading technical discussions with engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, Agile delivery, and full software development lifecycle methodologies
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, websockets, and third-party platforms, as well as working with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL and MongoDB
• Good knowledge of performance, testability, accessibility, security, HTTP(S), source control, deployment using Git and GitHub Actions, and strong debugging/problem-solving skills in complex, data-driven environments

• Experience in the analytics space, including building insight-led web interfaces and working with charting or data visualization libraries.
