 Meet the job

Developers all over the world will use your code when developing state-of-the-art mobile apps for the fintech industry. That’s why you will constantly create stunning products with remarkable user experience and taking care of backward compatibility when designing APIs.

• AI-Enabled iOS Delivery: Actively leverage AI coding assistants, LLM workflows, and automated tooling to accelerate feature development across UI, backend services, and APIs.
• End-to-End Ownership: Deliver production-ready features for the Backbase Digital Banking, from Swift UIKit components to SwiftUI components, to Framework API/ABI delivery.
• Modern iOS Engineering: Write clean, testable, and maintainable Swift code utilizing UIKit, SwiftUI and the Backbase Design System.
• Quality & Performance: Design testable components, run unit/UI/integration test suites, and uphold strict iOS accessibility (a11y), security, and performance standards.
• Agile Collaboration: Work autonomously within a cross-functional Scrum squad (UX, QA, Product Managers) to ship rapid product increments.

How about you

• You’ve earned your stripes designing and building iOS apps, and at least one can be found on the App Store;
• Your friends would define you as the “getting things done” and a leader type;
• The Agile philosophy is your lifestyle;
• We won’t have to tell you anything about mobile development for iOS. You’ll be the one teaching us your best practices;
• Your experience with TDD and unit testing and continuous integration such as Jenkins is a big bonus.
• The "Senior" Edge: You don't just solve tickets; you identify gaps in tooling, reduce technical debt, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery.
