This role serves as a trusted advisor to government leadership, supporting the planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of security initiatives while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, directives, and mission requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in security operations, program support, stakeholder coordination, and government advisory services, with the ability to work independently in dynamic and mission-focused environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES
A Mid-Level SETA Security Specialist will be tasked with the following:

• Provide SETA support to government security offices, program managers, and mission stakeholders.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of security program activities and initiatives.
• Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and operational guidance.
• Review program activities to ensure compliance with government regulations, security directives, and mission requirements.
• Prepare reports, briefings, staffing packages, correspondence, and program documentation for leadership review.
• Coordinate with government personnel, contractors, mission partners, and security professionals to facilitate program objectives.
• Track action items, milestones, deliverables, and security program requirements to support successful mission execution.
• Support program reviews, meetings, working groups, inspections, and compliance assessments.
• Analyze security processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
• Assist with risk management, issue resolution, and the development of corrective action plans.
• Provide administrative and technical support for security-related projects and initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of changing security policies, regulations, and mission requirements that may impact program execution.
• Support leadership with strategic planning efforts, program analysis, and decision-making activities.

Requirements

• Three (3) or more years of experience supporting government security programs, program management offices, compliance initiatives, or related security functions.
• Experience providing advisory, analytical, administrative, or program support within government, defense, or Intelligence Community environments.
• Knowledge of security program operations, compliance requirements, and government processes.
• Experience coordinating activities among multiple stakeholders and organizations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, briefings, and executive correspondence.
• Ability to work independently while supporting government leadership and mission stakeholders.
• Must hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.)
• A minimum Top Secret security clearance or higher with SAP/SAR eligibility is required to be considered for this position.
  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of additional relevant work experience may be substituted.
