Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Conducts regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure building security.
• Operates and monitors security control panels, alarms, and surveillance systems to identify and respond to potential security breaches.
• Responds promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Collaborates with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
• Manages access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Maintains accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• May provide ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.
• May provide executive transportation/security escorts and participate on Executive Protection details.
• Enforces company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees and visitors.
• Participates in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with security practices and technologies.
• May obtain a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty.
• Serves as a first responder and maintains Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid.
• Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License.
• Annual firearms qualification is required for those holding a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License.

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in defensive tactics and emergency response.
• Proficient in surveillance techniques and utilizing security technologies.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
