We have an exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join our team in Melbourne working with our Statutory Lines practice. This role is for a 12 month, permanent, fixed-term contract.

More about the work

• Liaising professionally via telephone with clients, courts, legal firms, and service providers to facilitate case progress and coordination.
• Drafting a wide range of legal documents, including formal correspondence, court filings, briefs to Counsel and expert witnesses.
• Managing filing efficiently, including electronic document handling, archiving, file closures, printing, and court submissions.
• Processing monthly billing using Aderant or similar systems, and monthly client reporting.

• Proven experience in a Legal Secretarial role, with a proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely support to both clients and legal teams.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment, managing competing deadlines with precision and attention to detail.
