The Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) in permanent healthcare opportunities nationwide. This role manages the full recruitment lifecycle, including candidate sourcing, screening, relationship building, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement. The ideal candidate is a driven recruiter with strong sales instincts and a passion for connecting providers with career opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for permanent physician and APP opportunities.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of active and passive candidates through sourcing, networking, referrals, social media, and outbound recruiting.

• Conduct candidate screenings to assess experience, career goals, compensation expectations, and location preferences.

• Present qualified candidates to clients and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.

• Develop long-term relationships with physicians, residents, fellows, and APPs to generate future placements and referrals.

• Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and healthcare organizations.

• Negotiate compensation packages, employment agreements, and start dates.

• Maintain accurate recruiting activity and pipeline data within CRM and ATS systems.

• Consistently achieve recruiting, placement, and activity goals in a metrics-driven environment.

• Partner with internal operations and credentialing teams to ensure a seamless placement process.

• Remain informed on physician workforce trends, compensation benchmarks, and market conditions.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1+ years of recruiting, staffing, healthcare recruiting, sales, or business development experience preferred

Preferred Experience

• Physician, APP, healthcare, or professional recruiting experience

• Experience building relationships with healthcare professionals and hiring leaders

• Proven success sourcing passive candidates and managing talent pipelines

• Experience working toward recruiting, placement, or revenue goals
