About The Role

• Provide exceptional patient-centred care to patients undergoing complex surgical procedures.
• Work effectively as a Scrub or Scout RN within a multidisciplinary operating theatre team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, VMOs, allied health professionals and nursing colleagues.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, visitors, colleagues and other stakeholders
• Ensure patient and staff confidentiality is always maintained.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, respect and continuous improvement
• Maintain compliance with relevant Department of Health requirements, Work Health and Safety standards and infection prevention and control practices.
• This position offers an attractive work -life balance with One RDO per month, published 14 days in advance
• Some on-call commitments for your specialty will be required, including occasional nights and weekends. Voluntary additional on-call opportunities may also be available.

About You

• Valid AHPRA registration.
• Bachelor's in nursing.
• Current or recent Cardiac, Vascular, Orthopaedic and /or Neurosurgical scrub/scout experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient centered care.
