Salesforce Technical Lead 

Location: Riyadh or Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

About the role 

We're looking for a Salesforce Technical Lead based in Saudi Arabia to own the technical delivery of a large-scale, integration-heavy Salesforce programme for a major enterprise client in the Kingdom. 

You'll work with project stakeholders, including consultants, development leads, business analysts, technical architects, project managers, client teams and third-party vendors. Together you'll analyse requirements and risks, shape solutions, and make sure they get built. 

What you'll do 

• Own the technical delivery of Salesforce workstreams, from solution design through development and deployment to go-live 

• Lead technical discovery and design sessions with the client, turning business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions and client-ready technical documentation 

• Give project teams and stakeholders guidance on the technical roadmap, architecture and platform 

• Lead and mentor a team of developers: delegate work, review deliverables, and uphold development quality and coding standards 

• Own the development lifecycle, including technical plans, risks, dependencies, timelines and resourcing 

• Work closely with project managers, solution consultants and the client to keep technical delivery aligned with project goals, budgets, timelines and expectations 

• Act as the technical bridge between development teams, project leadership and client stakeholders 

• Drive agile/Scrum delivery and adjust technical plans as business and project needs change 

• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge transfer, code quality and development best practice 

• Act as a Salesforce technical adviser and subject-matter expert, supporting solution discussions, business development and complex technical challenges 

• Keep up to date with Salesforce platform capabilities, architecture patterns and emerging technologies 

Who you are 

• A hands-on Salesforce technology leader with strong experience in solution architecture, design and development 

• You actively drive the adoption of design patterns across integration and Apex-led development, enabling the team to build reusable and scalable components. 

• Experienced in building custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, integrations, web services and data migration 

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, platform and governor limits, APIs, security, data and integration patterns 

• Experienced with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, with exposure to Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and Data Cloud, MuleSoft 

• Comfortable across the full Salesforce implementation lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through development and deployment 

• A strong communicator who can turn complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes 

• Confident leading technical discussions with senior client stakeholders and steering them towards the right solution 

• Comfortable in a fast-paced consulting environment with changing priorities and ambiguity 

• A collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring teams while staying hands-on with the technology 

• You leverage AI tools such as Claude Code across the delivery lifecycle to accelerate design and development, while analysing the impact of changes and ensuring they are safely validated and rolled out. 

What you bring 

Essential 

• 10+ years of consulting or technology experience, including 7+ years of Salesforce 

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Architect on enterprise Salesforce implementations 

• Strong experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions and integrations with third-party and client systems 

• Several successful Salesforce implementations delivered with agile/iterative methods 

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and the wider CRM ecosystem 

• Experience leading technical design sessions, defining deliverables and producing technical documentation 

• Ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions and scalable architectures 

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Experience contributing to business development and pre-sales discussions as a Salesforce SME 

• Active Salesforce certifications, or willingness to earn relevant ones 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Riyadh or Jeddah, and willing to travel to client sites when needed 

Nice to have 

• Arabic language skills 

• Hands-on experience with Amadeus Digital Integration Hub (DIH), including its event and data model, topics and schemas 

• Experience building on Kafka / Confluent event streaming, including consumer groups, Schema Registry and Avro/JSON serialisation 

• Experience integrating with Amadeus Web Services and APIs 

• Experience building data transformation and mapping logic, especially from nested JSON and EDIFACT into a canonical relational model 

• Background in travel, aviation or hospitality programmes 

• Previous delivery experience in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC
