OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

This is a hybrid technical role requiring hands-on expertise in both Salesforce Development and MuleSoft Integration Development. The successful candidate must be capable of independently designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Salesforce solutions while also building, maintaining, and troubleshooting MuleSoft APIs and integrations.

The role serves as the technical bridge between Salesforce, MuleSoft, and enterprise systems, ensuring releases are planned, executed, and deployed successfully across environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently managing Salesforce deployments through MuleSoft deployment pipelines, understanding integration dependencies, and ensuring system changes do not negatively impact upstream or downstream applications.

Candidates must have proven commercial experience delivering solutions across both Salesforce and MuleSoft and understand how Salesforce releases affect enterprise integrations. Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD deployment pipelines is essential.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, a solid understanding of integration architecture, and a governance-focused mindset to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions while adhering to development and release best practices.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Flows and Platform APIs.
• Build, enhance and support MuleSoft APIs, integrations and reusable services.
• Independently manage Salesforce deployments across environments using MuleSoft deployment pipelines, Maven and CI/CD tooling.
• Coordinate releases ensuring Salesforce and MuleSoft components are deployed together without impacting dependent systems.
• Troubleshoot Salesforce, MuleSoft and deployment issues across Development, UAT and Production.
• Monitor integrations, API health, DLQs and production alerts.
• Collaborate with Product, QA and Engineering teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow release governance and development best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years experience Salesforce Development experience (Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, Flows, Platform Events, REST APIs)
• Strong MuleSoft development experience (Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, DataWeave, RAML, Mule 4)
• Proven experience independently deploying Salesforce applications using MuleSoft deployment pipelines, Maven, Git and CI/CD
• Experience resolving deployment failures, merge conflicts and release issues
• Strong understanding of Salesforce-MuleSoft integration architecture
• Experience supporting production environments and resolving critical incidents
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Agent Force and Salesforce Developer
• Familiarity with Kafka or event‑driven architecture.
• Exposure to multi‑cloud or multi‑system integration setups.
