JOB PURPOSE

As a Salesforce Core Engineer, you will act as a primary hands-on developer and technical expert for core Salesforce platform builds. You’ll collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Business Analysts, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform integrations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable custom code using Apex (triggers, batch, queueable, async), Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce (legacy maintenance when needed).
• Declarative Configuration: Maximize native platform capabilities by designing scalable flows, process automation, advanced formulas, and dynamic layouts before writing custom code.
• Integrations: Architect and build secure REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware connections (MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom microservices), and event-driven architectures (Platform Events, Change Data Capture).
• Data Management & Migration: Handle complex data models, SOQL/SOSL optimizations, bulk data loading, and continuous data cleanup to maintain optimal governor limit performance.
• DevOps & Testing: Maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Git, and deployment tools (Copado, Gearset, SFDMU, GitHub Actions). Write comprehensive unit test coverage (≥ 85%) and conduct code reviews.
• Collaboration & Client Leadership: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement. Interface directly with clients to clarify requirements and explain complex technical tradeoffs.
  
  
  
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on Salesforce Core (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud).
• Advanced proficiency in Apex design patterns, trigger frameworks, and async processing.
• Deep experience with modern front-end frameworks, specifically Lightning Web Components (LWC) and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and integration patterns.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security architecture (OWD, Sharing Rules, Field-Level Security), and enterprise data modeling.
• Proficient with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git version control, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) (preferable)
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PDII) or Platform App Builder (preferable)
• Agency Mindset: Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multi-client project environments.
