A Day in the Life

As a Sales Operations Intern you will have the opportunity to support selling a broad range of Medtronic services working closely together with our Inside Sales team for Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) operating units.

Inside Sales is responsible for selling service solutions to our customers and thus improving the overall Medtronic customer experience with a technology enabled and innovative remote selling capability. You will support the development of our service business across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Internship details:

• Start date: November/December 2026
• Location: Netherlands (near Heerlen, Maastricht or Sittard)
• Duration: 6 months with posisibility to extend for another 6 months
• Working hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Work model: hybrid (approximately 2 days per week in the office)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support the identification of sales opportunities using existing reports, dashboards and business intelligence tools
• Assist with opportunity and contract management activities in Salesforce (SFDC), including customer follow-up and data maintenance
• Help prepare service contract renewal quotations for customers across the United Kingdom and Ireland
• Support customer outreach activities related to new service opportunities and planned maintenance programmes
• Assist in the preparation of offers and coordination between sales representatives, field service teams and customers
• Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of reports, dashboards and process documentation
• Daily utilization of relevant tools for sales-related activities (Salesforce, SAP etc.)
• Working closely together with inside sales colleagues, field sales representatives and technical consultants to deliver best in class service
• Create/ maintain work instructions for the work done during internship period

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Proficiency in English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive mindset with strong organisational skills and willingness to learn

Would be a Plus

• Proficiency in Dutch
• Sales-driven hands-on mentality
• Knowledge in Health Care / Medical devices sector
