POSITION SUMMARY:

Guided by the Field Sales Manager – Hawaii, the Sales Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, maintaining, and monitoring all aspects of merchandising for the sales department, while also serving as a liaison between the Company and our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Utilizes personal vehicle to merchandise products at designated locations.

Stocks, maintains, and monitors all aspects of merchandising, including stocking customer shelves, ensuring proper product placement, rotation, and pricing, as well as setting up displays.

Assists the sales team with their accounts and coordinates their own work duties.

Accurately maintains a work log that accounts for activities and driving time between accounts.

Maintains good relationships with store management and associates by providing regular service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Works independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Assists with schematic resets and participates in other sales activities and projects.

Performs work in a clean, neat, and safe manner.

Carries out all duties and upholds all standards in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Regular attendance is required for the position.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experiencerequired.

At least one (1) year of merchandising or related work experience.

Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.

Associate Degree in a business-related field is preferred.

COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:

The position requires visiting/working at different worksites; talking to co-workers and outside trade persons/vendors; written communication to co-workers and outside persons/vendors; responding to written or verbal requests of co-workers and vendors; reading; composing written language; receiving verbal instructions.
