WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Sales Engineer your mission is to deliver exceptional pre-sales engineering support to our partners and customers. By developing strong relationships as a trusted advisor, you help us drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. You work in close collaboration with our sales and marketing teams and your responsibilities includes product demoes, project design support, events, customer meetings and supporting colleagues and partners on technical and product related matters. In this role you’ll be in a unique position to learn the latest about our products and solutions and how they are used in a broad range of application areas, from security to industry projects. You will work daily with our products, partners, and customers and have responsibility for our Stockholm showroom, ensuring it remains up to date and inspiring. Your primary focus will be the Stockholm area, with occasional assignments in other parts of Sweden and the Nordic countries.

This is a hybrid role, based in the Stockholm area, with commuting distance to our office in Kungsholmen.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Deliver project design support by designing Axis solutions that meet customer needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and expert internally and externall
• Demonstrate, configure and setup Axis solutions for proof of concepts and demoes.
• Participate in trade shows, customer meetings, events and trainings
• Enable product sales by showcasing a strong business acumen
• Actively collaborate with partners and colleagues
• Develop your own skills and expertise continuously
• Keep updated on latest developments in the industry
• Responsible for our Stockholm showroom

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're seeking an enthusiastic engineer passionate about technology, customers, training and business. You have a keen interest in helping our partners find the best possible Axis solution that meet end customer needs in security and beyond. You are a team player and have a passion for achieving results through others. You can hold inspiring presentations and can explain complex technical topics to a mix of audiences.

The right candidate has experience of working in pre-sales, ideally within the CCTV industry or within the IT industry. You are knowledgeable about networking and IP-based technologies. You are a keen and quick learner who always seek to learn and develop in your day-to-day work. Finally, you are creative, curious and passionate for technology.

The role involves frequent traveling (approx. 30%) in Sweden, and occasional travels in the Nordics countries.

Apart from this you have the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree in computer science or engineering preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience from technical position in the IT or security industry
• Track record of delivering customer demonstrations and training sessions
• Outgoing with excellent communication skills
• Experience of working in a fast-paced sales environment
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (mandatory)
• Knowledge of network infrastructure is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
