We are currently looking for a Sales Coordinator (Western Region) to join our team in Richmond, B.C. 

POSITION SUMMARY

This position provides coordination and support to the regional sales team including report generation, communication distribution, record maintenance, special event planning and associated budget control.

POSITION FUNCTIONS

The following position function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. The position function statements reflect expectations of the fully trained, proficient incumbent who meets all performance criteria.                  

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting - Prepare and distribute regional sales reports, including weekly RDR reporting, competitive data, and other operational reports as required.
• Communications - Distribution of key communication to dealers i.e. trackers, co-op utilization as identified by regional management as well as development of monthly newsletter.
• Dealer Support - Assist with dealer requests for distribution and sales-related inquiries.  Provide operational reporting data to regional management as required.  Maintain dealer correspondence files.
• Event Coordination - Coordinate regional meetings and events, including invitations, venue selection, logistics, and budget tracking.
• Program Administration - Manage the quarterly Mystery Shop program.
• Support regional management in administering employee DEMO and LTBL programs.
• Records Management - Serve as the regional Records Retention Representative and ensure compliance with record retention requirements.
• Additional Duties - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by regional management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The following qualification factors reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

Knowledge: Post secondary education preferred and a minimum of 3 years experience preferably within the automotive industry. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), tableau, internet and mainframe applications. Ability to download mainframe data, analyze and provide insight. Must be able to work independently in an office environment dealing with multiple & conflicting deadlines and able to change priorities when required. A strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy.

Interpersonal Skills: The  incumbent is required to use a variety of interpersonal skills when communicating with NCI staff, dealers and vendors.. Strong telephone etiquette and customer service ethic.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Complexity and Problem Solving: Problems encountered by this position require analysis, research and follow up to successfully resolve.

Sensory and Physical Demands: The position entails a moderate degree of sensory effort: extended periods of time on the telephone with customers/employees and dealers, viewing spreadsheets and mainframe applications on a computer screen.

Decision-making/Impact of the Position: With minimal management approval and oversight, the incumbent is responsible for preparing reports with and without management approval. Errors potential to this position will generally be found and corrected within the department and/or organization. For example, incorrect numbers on month end report could affect sales comparisons.

People Management: This position has no formal managerial responsibilities; however, the incumbent must have ability to enlist the support and manage outside personnel and Nissan staff in the best interest of Nissan Canada.

Salary Range:

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
