Sales/Intake Attorney – Michael & Associates
Michael & Associates, a forward-thinking law firm specializing in criminal defense, is looking for a committed Sales/Intake Attorney to spearhead our client acquisition initiatives. About the Role
As a Sales/Intake Attorney, you will act as the main point of contact for individuals looking for legal representation. You will engage directly with clients facing serious criminal charges, perform thorough case assessments, and effectively explain how Michael & Associates can safeguard their rights and future.
This position does not require cold calling; all leads are pre-qualified and actively seeking legal support. Your key responsibility will be to establish trust, highlight the firm’s value, and guide prospective clients through the process of obtaining our services.
Job Responsibilities
Client Acquisition
- Conduct approximately 20 consultations daily with pre-qualified prospective clients.
- Evaluate their legal issues, clearly communicate our firm’s value proposition, and facilitate a seamless onboarding process.
Legal Knowledge & Client Education
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of criminal law and Michael & Associates’ defense strategies.
- Apply this expertise to respond confidently to client questions and advise on suitable next steps.
Client Support & Relationship Development
- Recognize the stress and uncertainty clients face when confronting criminal charges.
- Engage each client interaction with empathy, professionalism, and clarity, offering reassurance and fostering lasting trust.
Brand Representation & Advocacy
- Act as the initial point of contact for potential clients, representing Michael & Associates with integrity and professionalism.
- Embody our core principle of Zealous Advocacy by providing outstanding service and establishing a positive foundation for the client experience.

Requirements
- Passion for Client Engagement
You should genuinely enjoy phone-based interactions and building rapport with clients. Prior experience in client consultations or sales is essential. - Proven Sales Ability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. You’ll need to be both empathetic and persuasive—capable of clearly presenting our services and addressing any questions or concerns potential clients may have. - Legal Credentials
To be considered for this role, you must meet both of the following requirements: - Hold an active Texas Bar license in good standing.
- Have at least 7 years of criminal defense experience, including handling misdemeanor and felony cases and conducting client consultations.
- Comfortable Phone Communicator
This role requires frequent, high-volume phone interaction. If speaking with clients over the phone is not your strength or interest, this position may not be the right fit.
Benefits
Competitive Annual Salary: $160,000–$200,000, based on experience and performance.
