POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the Retail Cashier supports and contributes to store productivity and profitability through customer service excellence, a consistent brand experience and the ability to build emotional connection with the guest.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Models the BIG Experience in all guest interactions providing genuine Ozarks hospitality and outstanding service
• Processes transactions in an efficient and accurate manner
• Ability to perform opening and closing procedures
• Stays up to date on product knowledge to make accurate to beneficial recommendations to guests
• Stays up to date on resort-wide knowledge to share with guests in a confident and fun manner
• Demonstrates knowledge and insight regarding inventory levels, customer feedback and product requests and can suggest alternate options (SWAT).
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness, safety, and merchandising standards throughout the store.
• Other duties as assigned; reports to Store Manager

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regularly: Standing, Walking, Computer Work and lifting up to 50lbs

Additional Physical Requirements: Basic math skills and cash handling

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
