Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and development in computer vision, multimodal learning, medical/industrial imaging, and related AI4X topics.
Design, implement, train, and evaluate deep learning models and research prototypes using Python/PyTorch and related tools.
Prepare and curate research datasets, conduct quantitative and qualitative experiments, and perform rigorous result analysis.
Review relevant literature and identify suitable baselines, datasets, evaluation protocols, and research opportunities.
Contribute to technical reports, project deliverables, research papers, code repositories, and presentations.
Work closely with the PI and collaborators, participate in research meetings, and support collaborative research activities.
Perform other research-related duties as assigned by the PI in support of the project objectives.
Job Requirements:
Preferably Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player
Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
In-depth knowledge relevant to the project domain.
Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.
The ability and willingness to adapt and incorporate novel ideas and approaches in scientific industry.
Demonstrated ability to formulate hypothesis and design effective experimental plans.
Ability to design and implement new experimental methods.
High-level expertise in the required experiment or modelling methods.
Ability to initiate collaboration research in multidisciplinary team.
Oversee and report project progress.
Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours.
