About the Role

You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and control of financial and client money reconciliations. You will investigate exceptions, resolve reconciliation breaks, and support regulatory and operational control requirements across financial processes. Success in this role is measured by timely reconciliations, effective risk management, exception resolution, and adherence to audit and compliance standards. This role is based in Hyderabad and operates on a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform daily cash, balance sheet, and client money reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
• Investigate reconciliation exceptions and identify root causes of outstanding items
• Resolve aged breaks and escalate high-risk discrepancies in accordance with control procedures
• Prepare and maintain reconciliation documentation, evidence, and audit support records
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial data and trends to improve reconciliation quality and operational effectiveness
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to resolve reconciliation issues
• Maintain accurate records and support periodic reporting activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Support special projects and additional reconciliation-related activities as required

What you will need: 
• Experience performing financial, cash, account, or client money reconciliations

• Mandatory reconciliation background
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, banking operations, and reconciliation processes
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex exceptions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced spreadsheet analysis and reporting capabilities
• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and supporting documentation
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, confidentiality, and risk awareness
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in financial services, banking, fintech, or capital markets environments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to client money and financial controls
• Experience with reconciliation, accounting, or financial reporting systems
• Familiarity with operational risk management and audit support activities
• Advanced data analysis and reporting skills using financial tools and technologies
