What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Regulatory Compliance Officer within our Corpay Cross-Border division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross-Border line of business and is located in Luxembourg. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Corpay’s Luxembourg operations remain fully compliant with local and EU regulatory requirements. The role combines regulatory oversight with strategic advisory responsibilities, supporting senior stakeholders and helping to embed a strong compliance culture across the business. You will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Compliance, EMEA and regularly collaborate with the Global Regulatory Compliance team, Risk, Legal, Product, Operations, and Senior Management.

Role Responsibilities

  • Acting as the primary Regulatory Compliance Officer for Corpay’s Luxembourg Payment Institution
  • Ensuring compliance with Luxembourg and EU regulatory requirements applicable to payment institutions, including the Law of 10 November 2009 on Payment Services, PSD2 / PSD3, AML/CTF legislation, EBA Guidelines, GDPR, DORA, and applicable CSSF circulars
  • Maintaining and enhancing the compliance framework, policies, and procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements
  • Serving as the appointed MLRO where required, including receiving, investigating, and submitting suspicious transaction reports to the relevant Financial Intelligence Unit
  • Overseeing AML/CTF monitoring systems and ensuring timely, accurate, and effective reporting
  • Providing practical regulatory advice to senior management, business stakeholders, and operational teams
  • Preparing Board, Executive Committee, and regulatory reporting
  • Liaising with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) and other competent authorities as required
  • Overseeing the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and thematic reviews
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating the implementation of new requirements
  • Providing second-line oversight of new products, outsourcing arrangements, and material change initiatives
  • Reviewing client onboarding, complaints, safeguarding, conduct, and operational control arrangements from a regulatory perspective
  • Supporting regulatory inspections, internal audits, and external audits
  • Delivering compliance training and promoting a strong culture of regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating the implementation of Group compliance standards within the Luxembourg entity
  • Supporting governance, risk assessments, and regulatory change programmes
     

Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within a Payment Institution, Electronic Money Institution, or banking environment
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg financial services regulation applicable to payment institutions
  • Excellent understanding of PSD2, AML/CTF requirements, EBA Guidelines, DORA, GDPR, and CSSF regulatory expectations
  • Experience interacting with the CSSF or other European financial regulators
  • Experience advising senior management and Boards on regulatory matters
  • Strong understanding of governance, operational risk, and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • French language skills are highly desirable
  • Luxembourgish and/or German language skills would be advantageous

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is €68 600 – €100 000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications.
