Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24

24 hour evening shift position which includes one weekend every 3 weeks. The hours are 3pm to 1130pm with one 4pm to 1230am shift within the 6 week rotation. Also, includes holiday rotation.

Registration is a 24/7 department responsible for registering patients and updating information in the patient’s electronic medical record. Perform a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that patient demographic, financial and mandated information is accurate based on available information, while providing patients and/or family members with required regulatory informational documents regarding their visit or admission.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent guest relations and telephone demeanor 
• Ability to professional handle all interactions within a fast paced, hectic and emotionally charged clinical environment.
• Ability to think critically in making decisions to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills             

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Minimum two years of computer experience
• Minimum one to two years of experience in an acute hospital setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

License/Certification: N/A

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
