About the opportunity

Multiple opportunities for experienced Scrub Scout or Anaesthetic/PACU nurses in a Level 6 Tertiary hospital. Our unit caters for women who require specialist surgical care, in a variety of areas such as Obstetrics, Urogynaecology, Gynaecological Oncology, Endosurgery and General Gynaecology. We have also have an Emergency 24 hour theatre offering a challenging environment.

• Permanent Full-time or Part time available

• Rotating Roster including Night duty (options for permanent nights if interested)

• Strong commitment to staff education and ongoing professional development with weekly In-services and regular Specialised Study events

What you will bring:

You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

• Experience as a Perioperative Nurse , minimum 1 year required

• Post Graduate qualification in Peri-operative nursing desirable

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
