About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated registered nurse with experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology.
You would be responsible for providing comprehensive nurse care including, but not limited to:

• Managing the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
• Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures and policies
• Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out on the ward.
• Effective admission & discharge processes in accordance with hospital or ward guidelines
• Participate in ongoing education by attending training and study days as required or requested

Classifications for this position will range between YP3 – YP9 ($86,580.00 - $107,510.00 per annum, pro rata).   

Your Contribution

• Bachelor of nursing
• Current AHPRA registration without restrictions
• Previous experience in Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology nursing is desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated time management with ability to prioritise activities
• Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About 7 East
7 East is a 28 bed ward caring for patients under the Colorectal, Urology and Gastroenterology units. It is a fast-paced ward with high acuity, admitting patients both electively and through the Emergency Department. The team is highly skilled and supportive with a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, education and research.
