The role provides a critical two-way connection between local business priorities and global technology capabilities—bringing the scale, expertise and capabilities of GT into the BU while ensuring local requirements and priorities are reflected in global technology strategy and delivery. In partnership with News Corp Australia’s senior technology leaders and GT service and function leaders, the RTD will help shape and execute the organisation’s long-term technology strategy. The role ensures that GT capabilities continue to evolve in response to changing business requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on service quality, stability, agility, innovation, security and business value. Success in the role depends on the ability to operate effectively across a global, matrixed organisation.

The RTD will build trusted relationships across business and technology leadership teams, create alignment between local and global priorities, and foster strong collaboration across the regions.
