About the role:

The position is responsible for growing applications and profitability at existing accounts as well as new business development in the region and supporting value improvement projects.

You will be responsible for:

New Business Development

• Implement department strategic plan in district
• Develop and manage sales pipeline
• Grow business with existing customers

Corporate Account Management

• Conduct regular corporate customer reviews
• Manage corporate account profitability
• Initiate and conduct return on investment (ROI) projects
• Implement customer management & service plan

What you need to be successful:

• Demonstrates safe work practices and can identify hazards
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems and solutions
• Verbal communication, customer relations
• Customer focused
• Results orientated
• Ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
• Able to prioritise and manage own workload with minimal supervision
• Able to be flexible with work arrangements and can travel if and when required, this will be by exception and not the norm
• Current drivers licence
• Experience with boilers, cooling towers and mining
• Mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience in a sales/service and account management role (preferred)
• Degree in chemistry/science or over 3 years’ experience in the water treatment and chemical industry required.
