The pay range for this role is:

$99,800.00-$185,500.00/Annual

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

 

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

 

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

Job Details

The Regional Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing clinical sales support for Vascade and EnsoETM, leading solutions in the vascular closure and esophageal cooling markets, and for supporting the adoption of future products added through acquisition or portfolio expansion across an assigned region. This role reports to the Regional Clinical Manager and partners closely with the Regional Sales Director, Account Managers, Marketing, and other Clinical Teams to ensure consistent product support, exceptional patient outcomes, and strong regional coverage. Unlike territory‑based Clinical Specialist roles, the Regional Clinical Specialist supports the entire region by providing case coverage where gaps exist, ensuring continuity of clinical support when dedicated territory coverage is unavailable. This role requires flexibility, broad clinical expertise, and the ability to quickly integrate into new accounts and care teams to support procedural success and customer confidence.

As a recognized clinical expert, the Regional Clinical Specialist serves as a mentor and clinical resource for Clinical Specialists across the region and may participate in training and onboarding activities as needed. The Regional Clinical Specialist focuses on elevating regional clinical execution through expertise, adaptability, and close partnership with regional leadership. By providing regional case coverage and clinical support, the Regional Clinical Specialist contributes to achieving sales goals, advancing company objectives, and improving patient outcomes across the region.

Case coverage within the assigned region, providing clinical support where territory coverage is unavailable. · Assists with training and onboarding of new hires as needed, in partnership with regional leadership and Principal Clinical Specialists when assigned.

· Supports the Account Manager to provide good case coverage and clinical outcomes for

patients.

· Assists in product launches in their region as well as support busier teams when needed. In

addition, will assist in clinical trials not only in their region but around the country when needed.

· Serves as the primary clinical resource for clinical support in the areas of coverage,

troubleshooting and in-service education for company products.

· Informs the customer on the latest product, therapy and technology developments in the

industry by actively engaging in procedural and technical discussion.

· Demonstrates the ability to link clinical data to key messaging.

· Meets with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals and

constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions using company

products.

· Collaborates and communicates account and other requested information to sales team on a

daily basis.

· Shares insights on competitive products or on account issues, opportunities with appropriate

colleagues (AM or CS).

· Educates the customer on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products.

· Serves as the region expert for Interventional Technology procedures and function as the

region lead for simulation and training.

· Spokesperson related to procedural expertise and updated best practices within assigned

region.

· Expertly presents Haemonetics clinical papers, overall value proposition while complying with

all external regulations and internal policy.

· Identifies, establishes, and maintains productive working relationships with key decision

makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.

· The Regional Clinical Specialist will be the expert in challenging or more complex cases review,

lead and develop the content for Regional and/or Area clinical calls.

· Supports the RSD in the creation and dissemination of educational content for the internal team. · Case support and coverage of the most complex cases that require a higher level of clinical expertise. · Supports monitoring of product inventory levels. · Other duties as assigned

No direct reports. Serves as a senior clinical mentor and resource for less experienced team members across the region, supporting knowledge sharing, skill development, and best‑practice adoption through day‑to‑day collaboration. Provides leadership through expertise and example, and may contribute to regional clinical initiatives or serve as a subject‑matter resource when needed.

Education

Min/Preferred Education Level BA/BS or equivalent medical training required. Field of Study Health science and appropriate registrations or certifications (RT, RCIS, Surgical Tech, RN, NP, or First Assistant strongly preferred). Education Detail

Years of Experience

Years of Experience Typically requires 2+ years of direct healthcare experience (Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, etc.), Experience Details Strong clinical orientation, with experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, or cardiac surgery preferred. HAE experience preferred.

Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of new technologies and clinical data, supporting regional product launches and ensuring consistent clinical excellence across the region. · Business/Sales acumen: Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how clinical support influences regional business objectives. Applies broad market and product knowledge to identify opportunities for product utilization across diverse accounts and environments. Effectively communicates clinical value to stakeholders and partners closely with sales teams to support regional goals, while maintaining appropriate clinical role boundaries. · Communication: Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills across a wide range of audiences, including clinicians, administrators, and cross‑functional partners. Effectively adapts clinical messaging across diverse accounts and environments while supporting consistent regional communication standards. Serves as a trusted clinical voice across the region, reinforcing clarity, alignment, and credibility in customer interactions. · Autonomy/Level of supervision: Operates independently in the field with minimal supervision, determining methods and procedures for diverse and often rapidly changing assignments. Exercises sound judgment to prioritize competing demands, manage a dynamic schedule, and deploy clinical expertise where regional coverage is most needed. Embodies clinical leadership through adaptability, decisiveness, and consistent execution across the region. · Excellent interpersonal skills and strong clinical orientation with the ability to influence a variety of clinician, nurse, and lab tech personality types. · Ability to persuasively communicate and tailor the Vascular Closure Value Proposition.

· Analytical with financial acumen (understanding of how our products performance and data impacts a health system's bottom line). · Ability to maintain a good working relationship while dealing with sensitive and confidential matters. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Attention to detail to maintain records and process reports. · A thorough knowledge of the medical device market, products, and region's customer base. · Emotional intelligence to manage their schedule effectively and efficiently. · Previous industry experience preferably in the Cardiovascular space calling on Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, administrators, and clinical staff members. · Previous experience with vessel closure is preferred. · Previous experience providing clinical education and training to staff members is preferred. · Values Teamwork and collaboration internally and externally with customers. · Knowledge of MS office systems.

Travel Expectations

Regular Domestic: 50-70% in region and other regions as needed.
