The position has a front row seat to impact our Razer Gold product. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner – Tax & Pricing to is responsible for defining and driving the global tax, pricing, and billing strategy across Razer Gold’s payment ecosystem. This role bridges business, tax, finance, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure tax accuracy, competitive pricing, and regulatory compliance in all supported markets. The ideal candidate combines strong product management skills with a deep understanding of global digital commerce, tax systems, and monetization models.

The role sits at the intersection of business, tax, finance, compliance, and engineering, ensuring that our digital commerce and payment capabilities scale efficiently across multiple markets. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with a deep understanding of global digital payments, monetization models, and regulatory considerations in a fast-moving fintech environment.

You will play a critical role in delivering secure, compliant, and scalable payment experiences while optimizing revenue and operational efficiency across the Razer Gold platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Product Strategy and Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and delivery for digital payments, wallet capabilities, pricing, and related financial components within the Razer Gold platform
  • Drive the design and implementation of global digital payment and monetization features from concept to launch
  • Define product priorities aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and market needs
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance platform scalability, efficiency, and user experience
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with tax, finance, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure product compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Work with engineering teams to translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with regional teams to support localization requirements and market-specific payment capabilities
  • Act as the key product liaison between technical and business stakeholders
• Product Delivery and Execution
  • Lead demand research, requirement analysis, and product planning for global digital wallet and payment initiatives
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with development teams
  • Define user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria to support efficient product delivery
  • Oversee implementation of product features, ensuring delivery quality, performance, and compliance standards
• Data, Pricing, and Performance Management
  • Partner with data analytics teams to monitor key performance indicators such as:
  • Revenue performance
  • Pricing effectiveness
  • Transaction success rates
  • Tax and fee accuracy
  • Use data insights to drive product decisions and continuous optimization
  • Support pricing and monetization strategy development across markets
• Continuous Improvement
  • Collect and analyse feedback from internal stakeholders, partners, and users
  • Identify improvement opportunities and drive iterative product enhancements
  • Ensure product solutions remain aligned with evolving regulatory, operational, and market requirements

 

Pre-Requisites :

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fintech, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, preferably in the payments, digital wallet, fintech, or taxation & financial platform
• Proven experience delivering products in a global fintech or digital commerce environment
• Demonstrated experience launching products from concept to production (0→1 implementation)
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, or BI platforms)
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. 
• Entrepreneurial or startup experience is a plus
