As a Radiation Therapist at MercyOne, you will:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician’s prescription
• Complete treatment preparation including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
• Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Assure proper function of treatment equipment
• Based on principles of growth and development, provide care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned area

Schedule:

• 36 hours a week
• Day shift

Qualifications:

• Registered Radiation Therapist or registry eligibility required
• Must obtain and maintain a State of Iowa Permit To Practice requiring 24 CEUs in a 2 - year period
• Current Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
• Previous experience preferred
• BLS
• Mandatory Reporter
