We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our project team in Skelleftea, Sweden. This role will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of projects, ensuring costs are controlled, value is maximised, and financial delivery is achieved in line with project objectives.
Requirements
• Support the management of commercial and contractual aspects across the project lifecycle
• Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Support the procurement process, including subcontractor tendering, evaluation, and contract administration
• Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and identify risks and opportunities to support financial control
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Package Managers, and site teams on cost management
• Ensure all commercial and contractual documentation is maintained and up to date
• Attend Commercial Meetings, Site Meetings, and Project Reviews
• Assist in evaluating and processing change orders and variations in line with contract requirements
• Prepare interim valuations, applications for payment, and assist with final accounts
• Provide commercial support and advice to the project team
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and company procedures
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management
• Identify and support the resolution of commercial and contractual issues
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
• Experience supporting the commercial aspects of construction projects
• Good understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous
