As Quality Specialist - Quality Management, you will be accountable for ensuring that the project scope of supply meets the quality contractual requirements. You will work in collaboration with the Project Manager and all supporting functions involved in the project requisition processes, timely managing risks and the relevant mitigation plan in order to minimize the number of escaping defects and ensure that our customers’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

You will be accountable for ensuring that the project scope of supply meets the quality contractual requirements. You will work in collaboration with the Project Manager and/or Project Directors and all supporting functions involved in the project requisition processes, timely managing risks and the relevant mitigation plan in order to minimize the number of escaping defects and ensure that our customers’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

As Quality Specialist - Quality Management, you will be responsible for:

• Create quality control plans based on the standard template incorporating additional customer’s quality requirements, technical regulation and product certification requirements
• Take ownership for the quality requirements to ensure effective project execution for our customers, putting in place adequate quality surveillance and risk mitigation plan
• Issue and keep up to date the Inspection Activity Plan, coordinating inspections in BH facilities and suppliers together with BH appointed functions 
• Manage non-conformance and concessions approval process to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Communicate with internal and external customers to share project related information and build effective relationships
• Prepare and present quality performance reporting to internal leadership and customers
• Monitor the punch list during the scope of supply execution so to achieve zero punch list at shipment
• Drive On Time Delivery of quality documents and certification book to customer
• Feed continuous learning nurturing Lesson Learned process and application
• Report to Quality Director or Quality Portfolio Leader project status

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an appropriate level qualification in Project Management, Engineering or Quality Management, or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, a Master Degree is recommended); minimum of two additional years of experience in Quality
• Show solid experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control processes and their application
• Have analytical and reporting skill and show understanding and experience of problem-solving methodology and Continuous Improvement
• Be fluently English and Italian
• Have Quality auditor training & qualification (desired)

• Enjoy travelling to manufacturing/supplier locations and being flexible to customer demands (available to travel on short notice)

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,600 To 70,000. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
