As a Project Manager - Senior Associate you will manage assigned project workstreams within the Project Portfolio Management and Project Management job family, supporting strategic PMO managed services work and helping translate client needs into organized plans, deliverables, and timing. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex issues, guide day-to-day execution, build meaningful client connections, and mentor junior team members while developing your judgment, technical skills, and awareness of broader business goals. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will support client service delivery within our Strategy practice, bringing structure to multiple priorities, monitoring progress, and adapting as conditions change across project activities.
Responsibilities
- Managing project planning, scheduling, scope tracking, and dependency coordination across assigned client workstreams
- Developing project documentation, status updates, and governance materials that support clear decision making
- Monitoring project risks, issues, change requests, and action items, then escalating matters when timelines or scope shift
- Applying Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methods to organize delivery tasks and support iterative project execution
- Coordinating budget tracking, resource allocation, and project forecasting to support delivery planning
- Analyzing project data and delivery metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement
- Supporting project portfolio management, PMO activities, and service delivery models across managed services engagements
- Building relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams to align priorities, clarify expectations, and support delivery outcomes
- Guiding junior team members through project tasks, documentation standards, and delivery procedures
- Maintaining project controls, change control processes, and documentation accuracy across multiple concurrent assignments
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain
- Demonstrating project management office support in client-facing settings
- Utilizing Agile, Scrum, or Kanban project delivery methods
- Managing project governance, scope, schedule, and risk tracking
- Developing stakeholder engagement plans across complex workstreams
- Applying project management software for documentation and reporting
