Senior Project Manager - Job Description
What is the Opportunity?
This is not a conventional project management role. We are looking for a transformation leader who can take ownership of complex, customer-facing banking technology programs and bring together business, product, engineering, architecture and executive stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. You will lead major SaaS implementation and transformation engagements for global financial institutions — navigating complexity, challenging assumptions, managing competing priorities and creating confidence with senior client stakeholders. We want someone who can move comfortably between the boardroom and the delivery room. What You Will Do Own complex banking technology programs from mobilization through implementation and go-live. Job Description | Confidential 2
Act as a trusted delivery partner to senior client stakeholders. Translate strategic objectives into executable transformation roadmaps. Lead globally distributed Product, Engineering, Architecture, QA and Consulting teams. Own program economics, governance, scope, risks, dependencies and executive reporting. Anticipate delivery problems before they become escalations. Challenge clients and internal teams constructively when a better path exists. Create a culture of accountability, pace and high performance. Capture lessons and establish repeatable transformation practices across Customer Enablement. Who We Are Looking For You will likely bring 12–16 years of experience, including significant ownership of complex enterprise or banking transformation programs. We are particularly interested in talent from: Big 4 or leading consulting firms with banking transformation experience; leading major technology/change programs working with banking technology/product companies; or high-growth enterprise SaaS organizations. You should demonstrate: experience leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder programs; strong banking/BFSI domain understanding; executive-level communication and stakeholder management; commercial and financial discipline; excellent problem structuring and decision-making; strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC and enterprise SaaS delivery; and the ability to influence without relying on hierarchy. PMP/PRINCE2/PMI-ACP or equivalent is valuable, but transformation leadership matters more than Job Description | Confidential 3
