Overview

Join our Midlands Project Management team as a Project Manager, delivering a wide range of schemes across commercial office, industrial/logistics, aviation, education and government sectors. Based in Birmingham (or Nottingham), you’ll play a key role in managing projects from inception through to completion, taking ownership of delivery and developing trusted client relationships. This is a hands-on role where you bring structure, control and leadership to project delivery, working as part of an integrated, collaborative team.

Your role

• Manage projects (or workstreams on larger programmes) across the full lifecycle.
• Act as a day-to-day client interface, supporting high-quality service delivery.
• Lead coordination of multi-disciplinary teams and drive programme and design progress.
• Manage project governance, reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Monitor and manage cost, risk and programme performance.
• Support procurement strategies and contract administration (JCT / NEC).
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across public and private sectors.
• Contribute to bid submissions and help identify repeat business opportunities.
• Support and mentor Graduate / Assistant PMs.

About you

• Degree qualified with relevant post-graduate experience.
• Working towards or recently achieved chartership (APM, RICS, CIOB).
• Proven experience delivering projects within UK construction environment.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and governance
• Experience working with public sector clients or commercial developers.
• Confident communicator with solid commercial awareness.

Security clearance
