We are seeking for a Project Engineer in Czechia, Mikulov (full onsite).
Key responsibilities of the role:
- New product development, design concept
- Technical support for customers, cooperation with production, procurement, quality and other company departments
- Optimization and cost reduction of components
- Optimization of control systems and logics, Management of NPD projects
- New product concept generation
- Mechanical engineering (components sizing, systems mathematical models set up, ...)
- Plan, supervise and evaluate qualification, verification and validation tests of compressors, components and systems
- Performance and reliability testing, test data processing and evaluation
- Writing engineering reports
- Project management - project cost control, project and resources planning
- Lean development principles application & Perfect execution
- Project status reporting
- Engineering/Lab project team leading, work prioritization, motivation, tasks assignments
- Cooperation and coordination with colleagues from other European Locations, US and Asia
- DFMEA, Risks mitigation, Risk analysis, problem solving analysis
- Certification of products / components according to applicable standards
- Prototyping and troubleshooting
- Product platform technical ownership, innovations and cost reduction
- Implementation of product changes in documentation
- Creating / updating new product specification
- New SW qualification & SW parameters setting
- Product benchmarking
- Test equipment design
- Reporting to upper management
Required qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree of mechanical or electromechanical engineering
- Engineering education/experience in Thermodynamics
- More than 1-2 years technical position in industrial environment
- Experience with product certification processes
- Project team leadership experience
- Good understanding of mechanical designs and BOM structure
- Good written and oral communication skills
- English language – B2, Czech - fluent- both mandatory for this position
- MS Office daily user (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Project planning and tracking
- Systematic approach to problem solving
- Production technology knowledge
