WHO YOU ARE 

This Darwin-based role is responsible for supporting the delivery of construction projects through effective coordination of design, procurement, programme, documentation and site activities, helping to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• At least 2 years' experience in project coordination, site coordination or a related construction role
• Working knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and site delivery
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, specifications and technical reports
• Sound understanding of Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and relevant authority requirements
• Strong planning, coordination and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software and document control systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn, take direction and develop technical and project delivery capability

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Monitor and report on the progress of design and construction activities against programme milestones
• Support the coordination of site works, subcontractors, materials and project resources
• Assist with the resolution of design queries and the management of RFIs, drawings and technical documentation
• Review drawings for accuracy, sequencing and buildability and identify potential coordination issues
• Coordinate procurement activities, subcontractor submissions and tender documentation
• Track lead times, deliveries and project information to support programme outcomes
• Support compliance with DCOH HSEQ systems, WHS legislation and quality management requirements
• Coordinate inspections, testing, certifications and the collection of as-built documentation
• Maintain project registers, document control systems, meeting actions and reporting requirements
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, authorities and internal project teams to support project delivery
• Monitor compliance with Australian Standards, NCC/BCA requirements and project specifications
• Assist in identifying and escalating programme, procurement, quality and technical risks to the Project Manager
• Support project administration activities including progress reporting, submissions and authority compliance
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture and maintain professional stakeholder relationships
• Represent DCOH professionally and ethically in accordance with the DCOH Code of Conduct
