Job Description

Essential Functions

• Provide administrative support for Agency programs, including preparing, updating, and maintaining application materials, forms, and related program documentation.

• Review, analyze, and evaluate funding applications submitted to Agency programs, and provide recommendations regarding eligibility, feasibility, and funding considerations.

• Assist with the monitoring and compliance of awarded projects, including corresponding with grantees, reviewing and tracking progress and closeout reports, and monitoring ongoing affordability requirements.

• Assist with the promotion of departmental programs through data tracking and analysis, marketing and outreach activities, project site visits, and participating in groundbreaking ceremonies, ribbon cuttings, and other events throughout the Commonwealth.

• Coordinate the development and publication of an annual Spotlight Report, showcasing past and current projects for Agency staff, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors

• Conduct research and document best practices, procedures, and emerging trends related to grant management and housing and community development programs.

• Collaborate with members of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy to provide administrative and program support for departmental planning, program development, and policy initiatives.

• Attend and participate in training, conferences, meetings, and other professional development activities relevant to the position, as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, nonprofit management, urban planning, community or economic development, project management, or another closely related field.  Comparable work experience is also acceptable.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
